Reader Question: What's Your Favorite Batman Movie?

BatmanBeyondRoftheJokerNguyenThere is a certain film coming out in a week that you may or may not have heard of called The Dark Knight Rises. Christopher Nolan is wrapping up his big Batman movie saga with this one and there is a ton of hype going into it. If he will or will not succeed, no one can say just yet. Maybe it will be the most beloved Batman film of all time and end his trilogy right.  Maybe it will be a huge disaster. What we are interested in today is not The Dark Knight Rises, it is YOUR favorite Batman movie!

Reader Question is: What is your favorite Batman movie?

It can be any kind. From the old serials, to the Tim Burton 1989 film, Mask of the Phantasm, Batman Begins, Under the Red Hood, whatever. As long as it stars Batman it counts.

My favorite has been and probably always will be Batman Beyond Return of the Joker. Both for a great mystery that ties into the past of Batman and a fantastic 10 minute segment that shows the death of Batman's greatest foe. That 10 minute segment alone feels like the finale of the award winning Batman The Animated Series. There is a lot to love about Return of the Joker, too much to sum up here, so I will save it for a review in the future.

So let us know in the comments section below what your favorite Batman film is! And stay tuned to the Revolution a little over a week after The Dark Knight Rises is out for a Reader Question asking you all your thoughts. We will give you two weekends to get yourselves in a theater and to watch it.
