More bash and snark rather than praising the truly good comics. This podcast has seen better days.

Forgot to say, I still think that it's great that you take that time of your life to make the podcast and edit it for your followers (not in a sect like way :P), even if I feel like the quality has gone down from what it used to be.

@Jimmy Bag: Yeah, the podcasts used to be more positive, because DC and Marvel comics were better several years ago. However, they have been on a steady decline for a while now. I only reflect what I am given. The podcasts will be more positive when DC and Marvel start stepping up their game once again. I won't sugar coat my view of what DC and Marvel are publishing currently.

I think the next podcast will be a more positive one. We give high marks to Uncanny X-Force #3. We also give love to certain aspects of Time Masters #5 and Amazing Spider-Man #650. We like parts of Green Lantern #60 and GL: Emerald Warriors #5. But, we are pretty negative on Batman #750. So, that makes the next podcast a majority positive podcast for you.

Don't get me wrong, I agree on many of the things you say; Marvel and DC are truly declining and stale. But I don't agree on giving a crap title more time on the podcast than any other title, when you could just say that it is utter and total monkeydung. Instead, you rant and rant repetitions of past rants because the artists/writers keep repeating the same mistakes. It is a bit silly, in my opinion.

PD: I LOL'd at "we like PARTS of GL #60 and GL: EW #5. I actually like you guys' sarcastic, ranty side. I just am not a fan of things in excess.

@James Bag: Don't worry my schedule has gone back to being more normal now and will be back to write reviews in order to balance out all the grumpiness of Rokk and the others with my positivity. ;)

Rokk, I agree with you about the sad state of comics as they are currently written. You look at hollow book like Avengers and compare it to stuff like the critically acclaimed, and truly great, Thanos Imperative or War of Kings and you have to scratch your head. The former sells three times more monthly copies than the later, yet the later is more than three times better. Are the fans just dumber these days to prefer dinner table banter over stories, plots, and action that is exciting and interesting. I guess I am no longer Marvels target audience.

@James Bag: Ha! We tried to keep it positive when reviewing GL and GL: Emerald Warriors. ;)

@Living Tribunal: It dumbfounds me as well. I will never understand how brilliant titles like DnA's cosmic titles only sell a fraction of what shallow and dull reads like Avengers sell.

I think I am like you. Simply no longer Marvel's target audience. Or, the average fan is dumber or has lower standards than they used to.
